To start asap. We have an exciting opportunity for someone who has previous experience of teaching and assessing staff in a Social Care setting.
This is a role new to East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership so we are looking for someone who can join the team and make strides to create an internal provision of Social Services SVQs. All home/hybrid workers must live in the UK. Where an application for home-working is supported, it will be subject to a satisfactory trial period. Employees with a hybrid working arrangement in place will be office based and able to work from home, with permission, on an ad hoc basis.
Job Details To facilitate establishment and delivery of a range of core qualifications and training to staff within the Health and Social Care Partnership, and a Foundation Apprenticeship in Social Services and Healthcare within East Lothian secondary schools, with oversight of Assessors/Verifiers. To use appropriate methods to promote learning and achievement, including the associated activities related to the preparation, delivery, and assessment of training materials. Educated to a minimum of SCQF level 9 in Social Services and Healthcare.
Completed SQA Unit L&D9DI qualification to Assess Workplace Competence. Driving Licence As the duties of this role require you to effectively travel to successfully undertake the full remit of the role, you must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.*(*Where a disability precludes you from obtaining a driving licence, ELC will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.)
