We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Green Technologies and Electrical Inspection to deliver outstanding quality in teaching, learning, assessment, and tutorial support to students. This role is pivotal in maximising student achievement and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on curriculum development, employer engagement, and learner skill development.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Act as a Course Leader and Pastoral Tutor, providing comprehensive support and guidance to students.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching, learning, and assessment strategies, including the creation of effective learning support materials.
- Conduct student inductions, set SMART targets for attendance and punctuality, and ensure high levels of student retention and progress.
- Contribute actively to the school community, identifying opportunities for employment and skills-focused study for learners.
- Deliver specialised teaching and assessment activities, including lectures, coursework, practicals, and fieldwork for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Utilise your expertise in Green Skills technologies and Electrical Inspection & Testing to enhance student learning experiences.
- Engage in scholarly activities to further personal, departmental, and course development.
- Perform administrative duties related to teaching, quality assurance, and student records management.
- Maintain and develop industrial links, organise industrial visits, and participate in college events and recruitment activities.
