Role and responsibilities
In addition to Lecturing, you will act as a personal tutor to provide pastoral care to our students using listening, interpersonal and pastoral care skills to deal with any sensitive issues that arise. All our tutors appreciate the needs of individual students and their circumstances and are asked to refer students as appropriate to the specialist services which can provide further help.
To be successful in this post
- A strong commitment to excellence in teaching and an innovative approach to delivering the curriculum
- Experience in teaching a range of subjects in finance, such as financial management, risk management, banking, and financial markets
- An understanding of the needs of students on different programmes and at different stages of their education
- Competent IT skills and effective use of IT for teaching and learning
