We’re looking for a passionate early-careers specialist with deep apprenticeship expertise and the drive to create outstanding experiences for emerging talent.

This is a pivotal role within our Early Careers function. Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development, you will act as MSI’s apprenticeship subject matter expert driving improvements across our existing provision, developing new career pathways, and helping us progress toward the We Invest in Apprentices: Gold Standard .
You’ll work closely with the Early Careers Business Partner - Graduates, People Development, Social Value teams, training providers, and local pastoral leads to deliver a consistently excellent and inclusive apprentice experience.
Provide expert guidance on apprentice performance, placements, wellbeing and safeguarding
Create opportunities for apprentices to connect, network and support community initiatives
Develop an induction standard and a personal-skills L&D offer for new talent apprentices
Collaborate with the Graduate BP to create a clear pathway between degree apprenticeships and MSI’s graduate programme
Programme Design & Workforce Planning
Work with Head of Organisational Development to identify skills needs and talent pipeline gaps
Develop “core” apprenticeship programmes that offer high-quality, scalable solutions
Support local teams in designing bespoke apprenticeship pathways where required
Training Provider & Funding Management
Implement a robust process for provider selection, contract management and performance oversight
Consolidate and strengthen relationships with strategic training providers
Act as a super-user for MSI’s levy account, advising on funding rules across England, Scotland and Wales
Data, Reporting & Governance
Monitor performance and progression at apprentice and cohort level
Use data to drive early interventions and continuous improvement
Lead collaboration between Early Careers, Social Value, and Work Winning team
Ensure local projects’ Social Values commitments align with apprenticeship and talent pipeline opportunities
Advise Talent Acquisitions and external partners on apprentice recruitment
Experience designing inclusive, high-quality early-career programmes
