Our new after-school clubs are designed to give girls the platform to enjoy football in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment – whether they’re kicking a ball for the first time or already love the game. With the rapid growth of the women’s game and the increasing visibility of role models in the sport, now is the perfect time to help girls build confidence, skills, and a lasting connection to football.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to safeguarding requirements and the responsibilities of leading activities with children in a school setting, We are seeking a passionate Football Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for football, be an experienced player with a strong background in sports coaching and have the ability to educate and inspire primary school children of all levels. As a coach for Play Football Juniors we will cover the costs of DBS check, safeguarding and first aid training.
Monday - 330pm-430pm
Paid role: £15 for the hour session. Paid weekly in arrears.
Duties
- Conduct weekly football sessions.
- Educate children on techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport.
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages participation and collaboration.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during training sessions and competitions.
- Maintain open communication with children, parents
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the football
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
