We are currently seeking an Agency Lecturer in Art to join our team at the Bromley Campus. This role involves teaching BTEC courses and requires a candidate who can start immediately. The position is for three days a week:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and informative art lessons focused on the BTEC curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials that meet educational standards and the needs of students.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required documentation.
- Foster a creative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Stay updated with changes and developments in the field of art education, especially related to BTEC standards.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:- Proven experience as an art lecturer or teacher, with specific knowledge of the BTEC curriculum.
- Strong understanding of art techniques and theories applicable to secondary or further education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and inspiring students.
- Ability to plan, organize, and execute effective classroom lessons.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning in both art and educational methods.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Art or Art Education.
