Responsibilities:

Supervise postgraduate research students undertaking dissertations and theses in relevant areas. Provide expert advice and support to academic staff on the effective use of digital tools and platforms for teaching and learning. Contribute to the strategic development of the faculty's digital learning initiatives and policies. Organize and lead workshops, seminars, and training sessions for staff and students on digital teaching methods and technologies. Collaborate with colleagues across different departments to foster interdisciplinary approaches to digital education. Contribute to the broader academic and administrative life of the university, including curriculum development, quality assurance, and student support. Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in digital pedagogy, learning analytics, and educational technology. Engage in professional development activities to maintain and enhance expertise in the field. Contribute to the recruitment and retention of students on relevant programmes.
Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Education, Digital Learning, Educational Technology, or a related field. Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in teaching and curriculum development within higher education, with a specialization in digital pedagogy. A strong research record, evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations. Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging online and blended learning experiences. Expertise in a range of educational technologies and learning management systems (LMS). Experience in supervising postgraduate research students. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-campus and remote responsibilities. A commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
