The University of Law Business School provides industry‑accredited courses (CMI, CIM, APM, CIPD and ACCA) including Business Management, Marketing, HR, Finance and Accounting, designed specifically with employability in mind.
We are currently looking for Lecturer/Senior Lecturers to join our academic team at our centrally located Birmingham campus. We are particularly interested in candidates with specialisms in Business Analytics, Cyber Security, AI and Project Management, and experience in the Harvard Case Method and online simulation.
Reporting to the Academic Manager, you will provide tuition across the University of Law Business School course portfolio, delivering postgraduate and undergraduate BSc courses to a high standard. You will be challenged by students and course content alike, adapt to different learning styles and delivery methods, share your expertise, and be responsible for marking in‑course assignments, final assessments and supporting student queries.
Responsibilities
- Teach and assess across the Business School course portfolio, including a range of written and presentation skills and giving individual feedback.
- Assist in the preparation of assignments and assessments.
- Participate in course design and review.
- Act as an academic coach to students, being available to discuss problems, performance and academic progression.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Business and/or Management) or equivalent professional qualifications.
- For Senior Lecturers – Fellowship of the HEA and a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PgCHE) or equivalent, plus extensive relevant experience.
- Teaching experience in a Higher Education setting or an equivalent educational establishment.
- Flexibility to teach across a range of subjects.
- Professional, punctual and committed to teaching.
For Senior Lecturers, you will have developed significant expertise in teaching techniques, pastoral care, mentoring, assessments, marking and team leadership. If you do not currently hold a PgCHE or an equivalent qualification, you must enrol in the programme within 12 months of probation.

Lecturer £40,250 – £42,250;
