Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Apprenticeship Program Manager to develop, implement, and oversee their comprehensive apprenticeship initiatives. This role, based in Birmingham, West Midlands, UK , is crucial for cultivating talent pipelines and fostering a skilled workforce. You will be responsible for designing apprenticeship frameworks, managing relationships with training providers and educational institutions, ensuring compliance, and supporting apprentices throughout their development journey. This position offers a Hybrid working model, blending office-based strategic planning with remote administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop innovative apprenticeship programs aligned with industry needs and business objectives. Manage and nurture relationships with external training providers, colleges, and universities. Ensure all apprenticeship programs meet regulatory requirements and quality standards. Recruit, onboard, and support apprentices throughout their program duration. Develop and implement assessment strategies and monitor apprentice progress. Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and career development activities for apprentices. Collaborate with internal departments to identify talent needs and align apprenticeship offerings. Manage program budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation. Collect and analyze program data to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Stay current with apprenticeship legislation, funding models, and best practices. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in apprenticeship program management, talent development, or vocational training. Strong understanding of apprenticeship frameworks, funding mechanisms, and compliance requirements in the UK. Proven experience in stakeholder management, including working with training providers and internal teams. Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills. Experience in curriculum development and adult learning principles is highly desirable. Proficiency in HRIS systems and standard office software.
