Key Responsibilities:
Teach and supervise students in areas related to educational technology, digital learning, and instructional design. Develop and revise curriculum to incorporate emerging technologies and best practices in pedagogy. Conduct independent and collaborative research in educational technology, aiming for publication in reputable journals and presentation at conferences. Secure external funding for research projects. Contribute to the strategic development and leadership of the educational technology program. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior faculty and research staff. Organize and lead workshops and training sessions for staff on the effective use of educational technologies. Engage in the wider academic community through service and collaboration. Contribute to institutional initiatives related to digital learning and innovation. Evaluate student learning and provide constructive feedback.
Qualifications:
A Doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Educational Technology, Learning Sciences, Instructional Design, or a closely related field. A strong track record of research and publication in peer-reviewed journals and conferences in educational technology. Demonstrated experience in teaching at the university level, with a focus on technology-enhanced learning. Expertise in various educational technologies, learning management systems (LMS), and digital pedagogical approaches. Experience in curriculum development and assessment design. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience in supervising postgraduate students.
