Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Apprenticeship Coordinator to manage and enhance their burgeoning apprenticeship programs. This hybrid role, based in Derby, Derbyshire, UK, is instrumental in recruiting, onboarding, and supporting apprentices throughout their training journey. You will be the primary point of contact for apprentices, employers, and training providers, ensuring the smooth delivery of all apprenticeship-related activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a strong understanding of apprenticeship frameworks and funding mechanisms. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for apprentices, including advertising vacancies, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.Manage the onboarding process for new apprentices, including induction and enrollment.Act as a central point of contact for apprentices, providing guidance and support throughout their program.Liaise with internal departments and external training providers to ensure the quality and effectiveness of apprenticeship training.Maintain accurate records of apprentice progress, attendance, and achievements.Coordinate review meetings between apprentices, employers, and training providers.Ensure compliance with apprenticeship funding rules and regulatory requirements.Assist in the development and promotion of new apprenticeship opportunities.Organize and facilitate information sessions and events related to apprenticeships.Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by apprentices, employers, or providers.Qualifications:
Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.Proven experience in administration, coordination, or HR, preferably within an educational or training environment.Knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks, standards, and funding mechanisms is highly desirable.Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HR/learning management systems.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.A proactive and problem-solving approach.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working model.A commitment to fostering talent development and career progression.This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in nurturing the next generation of professionals.
