Our client, a forward-thinking organisation committed to talent development, is seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Program Manager to oversee and enhance their comprehensive apprenticeship offerings. This role will be based in **Cardiff, Wales, UK**, offering a hybrid work model that balances office-based collaboration with remote flexibility.
The Apprenticeship Program Manager will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and ongoing management of high-quality apprenticeship programs across various departments. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with educational institutions, ensuring compliance with apprenticeship standards, and providing support to both apprentices and their mentors. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, a passion for learning and development, and a solid understanding of the apprenticeship landscape.
Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and manage effective apprenticeship programs aligned with industry standards and organizational needs.Act as the primary point of contact for apprentices, providing guidance, support, and mentorship throughout their program.Build and maintain strong partnerships with external training providers, colleges, and universities.Ensure all apprenticeship programs meet regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.Collaborate with HR and department heads to identify apprenticeship opportunities and recruit suitable candidates.Develop and deliver onboarding programs for new apprentices.Monitor apprentice progress, provide feedback, and facilitate regular reviews with mentors and training providers.Organize and coordinate workshops, training sessions, and networking events for apprentices.Manage program budgets and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for program success.Stay current with national apprenticeship policies, funding streams, and best practices.Promote the apprenticeship program internally and externally to attract talent.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, HR, learning & development, or a similar role, with a strong focus on apprenticeships.In-depth knowledge of the UK apprenticeship framework, funding mechanisms, and regulatory requirements.Proven experience in managing relationships with external training providers and educational institutions.Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Ability to motivate and support individuals at various stages of their career development.Experience in data analysis and reporting on program outcomes.Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, demonstrating self-discipline and collaboration.This role offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the rewarding opportunity to shape the development of future talent within a supportive and dynamic organization.
