About us: Embark on a thrilling career path by joining the Airbus Apprenticeship programme! Our apprentices receive exceptional training, acquiring the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to make a meaningful contribution once they enter the workforce. Airbus UK handles the design, manufacturing, and supply chain management for Wings, Landing Gear, and Fuel Systems across all Airbus Commercial Aircraft. Wing production takes place at our world-class facility in Broughton, while design and supply chain management is based in Filton.
This 4-year Supply Chain Operations Degree Apprenticeship presents a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a vital department, supporting the diverse array of innovative aircraft developed by Airbus. You will obtain a BSc in Supply Chain Management (Professional Practice) from Aston University, with a blend of block release weeks at the university and practical work experience at our leading engineering and manufacturing site in Filton.
What you will be doing: Throughout your tenure at Airbus, you will engage in industry-based work that offers practical experience across manufacturing, design, and quality functions, with placements in relevant departments throughout Airbus UK. You will collaborate with key stakeholders within the Supply chain team and with internal and external suppliers. Your responsibilities will vary, providing you with experience in managing key suppliers across sectors and disciplines, such as machining and fabrication, while ensuring the effective management of supplier capabilities and capacities.
Complementing your engineering degree, you will support the implementation of cutting-edge engineering technologies and help facilitate the transition from traditional methodologies to innovative digital practices. You will also gain insights into procurement by supporting key stakeholders, enhancing your negotiation and contract management skills, and ensuring seamless communication of crucial design and manufacturing information. Additionally, you will have the chance to join various employee networks, including the Early Careers network, Generation Airbus, Pride@Airbus, Balance for Business, and embRACE, to further develop your professional and personal skills.

To qualify for this apprenticeship, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- 3 A Levels: a minimum of two Bs (including Maths) and one C or equivalent.
- GCSE: Grade C/4 or above in Mathematics and English Language.
Successful candidates will also need to submit:
- Your CV stating your grades (predicted or achieved).
