Overview

We are looking for a Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer with the ability to deliver across the full range of the department\'s provision. You may currently be working in a construction setting looking for your first job in teaching. You will have a passion for innovation, bringing new ideas and embedding new technologies into the learning environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver and develop courses across the full range of the department\'s provision.
Plan and use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques.
Work as part of the construction team to support learner development.
Obtain a relevant teaching qualification if not already possessed.

Qualifications

Excellent knowledge and understanding of Carpentry and Joinery.
Relevant experience in construction or teaching.
Teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) desirable.
