Our client, a leading organisation committed to talent development, is seeking an experienced and passionate Apprenticeship Program Manager to oversee and enhance their apprenticeship initiatives in Leicester, Leicestershire, UK. This vital role involves the strategic design, implementation, and management of comprehensive apprenticeship programs across various departments. You will be responsible for ensuring the success of apprentices, fostering strong relationships with training providers and internal stakeholders, and driving the growth and effectiveness of our apprenticeship offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the end-to-end management of apprenticeship programs, from recruitment and onboarding to completion and progression.Developing and refining apprenticeship curricula in collaboration with internal subject matter experts and external training providers.Managing relationships with approved training providers, ensuring quality of delivery and compliance with standards.Coordinating the recruitment and selection process for new apprentices, working closely with HR and hiring managers.Providing pastoral support, mentorship, and guidance to apprentices throughout their program.Monitoring apprentice progress, conducting regular reviews, and addressing any performance or development needs.Ensuring compliance with all relevant apprenticeship funding rules, regulations, and quality standards.Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for apprenticeship programs and reporting on outcomes and impact.Identifying opportunities for apprenticeship program expansion and continuous improvement.Facilitating communication between apprentices, line managers, and training providers.Organising and promoting apprenticeship events and initiatives to attract talent and raise awareness.Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in managing or coordinating apprenticeship programs, or a similar talent development/learning and development role.Strong understanding of the UK apprenticeship framework, funding rules, and compliance requirements.Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with apprentices, managers, and external partners.Experience in recruitment or HR coordination is advantageous.A passion for learning and development, and a commitment to supporting the growth of individuals.Proficiency in using HRIS or learning management systems (LMS) is desirable.Ability to work collaboratively across different departments and levels of the organisation.Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.A relevant qualification in HR, Learning & Development, or Education is a plus.This hybrid role offers the flexibility to manage programs and provide remote support, while also requiring in-person engagement with apprentices and stakeholders in the Leicester, Leicestershire, UK area.
