Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative digital curricula and courses. Deliver engaging and effective online and blended learning experiences to students across various disciplines. Conduct research in the field of digital education, learning technologies, and pedagogical innovation, aiming for publication in leading academic journals. Supervise postgraduate research students (Masters and PhD) in digital education. Mentor and support academic staff in the effective use of digital technologies and pedagogical approaches. Contribute to the strategic development of the university's digital learning environment and initiatives. Evaluate and integrate emerging learning technologies and platforms to enhance the student experience. Organize and lead workshops and training sessions for staff and students on digital learning tools and practices. Collaborate with faculty across departments to promote and embed effective digital pedagogy. Contribute to administrative duties as required by the department and university. Qualifications: A relevant PhD in Education, Digital Learning, Learning Technologies, or a related field. A strong publication record in reputable peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings related to digital education. Demonstrable experience in designing and delivering successful online and blended learning programmes. Expertise in a range of learning technologies (e.g., VLEs like Moodle or Blackboard, H5P, video conferencing tools, e-portfolios). Proven ability to conduct independent research and secure research funding. Experience in supervising postgraduate research students. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team. Experience in curriculum design and quality assurance processes in higher education. Must be eligible to work in the UK.
