Role
We’re on the lookout for a Lecturer in Business & Digital Marketing to join our growing team. You’ll help shape the thinkers, doers and leaders of tomorrow, blending academic insight with practicality to make learning lectures come alive.
Location: Manchester (UA92 Campuses, Old Trafford & Business School)
Contract type: Permanent, Full-time 37.5 hours per week
What You’ll be doing
- Deliver engaging, industry-focused teaching in Business, Digital Marketing, and related subject areas.
- Design and assess modules that connect theory with real-world application.
- Support students’ personal and professional development through mentoring and feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to keep our curriculum fresh and relevant.
- Contribute to research, knowledge exchange, or professional practice activities aligned to your expertise.
What we’re looking for
You’ll be passionate about helping every student reach their potential. You’ll bring creativity, curiosity, and confidence to your teaching and a commitment to inclusivity and innovation in everything you do.
Essential:
- A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Relevant industry experience in particular areas such as data analytics, digital marketing, branding, communications, or similar.
- Teaching experience in higher or further education or equivalent industry experience
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for student success.
Desirable:
- A postgraduate qualification or PhD (or working towards one).
- Experience with contemporary marketing technologies and analytics tools.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g. CIM).
