Assessor/Trainer in TAQA/ IQA/ AET (Part time, 29.6 hours P/W) Inspire, Lead, and Make an Impact Teach TAQA and IQA Qualifications at Colchester Institute! Were looking for a passionate and experienced professional to take the lead in delivering TAQA and IQA qualifications and play a key role in shaping the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment both at Colchester Institute and with our external candidates.
About the Role:
In this dynamic role, youll:
Support enrolment, module selection, funding coordination, and course registration. Deliver 1:1 and group teaching sessions tailored to learner needs. Conduct workplace observations and assessments following industry standards. Guide learners in portfolio development and evidence mapping. Monitor and report learner progress, ensuring timely course completion. Collaborate with IQA on quality assurance and support external audits. Develop innovative teaching materials and promote online learning tools.
Provide pastoral support and manage learner behaviour effectively. Participate in quality assurance and maintain professional development. Qualifications:
Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4 or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent. Level 4 teaching qualification or higher (Including IQA award) Recent relevant CPD relating to subject specialism. Essential
Experience:
Experience of delivery of TAQA/ IQA and AET L3/ 4 qualifications. Curriculum development experience in either TAQA/ AET.
Experience of working with multiple organisations to achieve learning aims. An understanding of the National Occupational Standards for assessment A strong grasp of digital technologies and experience of using ICT as an effective teaching tool.
Experience of contributing to quality assurance processes within a curriculum. Staff Benefits:
