We are pleased to offer this unique opportunity to join our team at The Pulse Leisure Centre in Dursley, as a Leisure Team Member Apprentice.
The Pulse swimming pool offers a wide range of classes and activities for the local community, as well as regular public swimming sessions along with fantastic customer service. The gym is a well-equipped fitness suite with cardio machines, resistance training machines and a free weights area, as well as a team of great fitness instructors. The studio is home to our wide range of health & fitness classes.
As an apprentice, you will be trained in all functions of the leisure service in order to provide high-quality swimming lessons, to lifeguard the swimming pool during public sessions in between lessons, to work Reception and fully support the service.
No previous experience is essential; however, you will have a strong interest in the sector.
This role is a training role where you will be supported throughout your apprenticeship from your line manager, team members, Apprenticeship coordinator, Assessor from Lifetime training, Apprenticeship Ambassador, and will be a part of a wider Apprentice group within the council.
Please note this is an up to 18-month apprenticeship.
