Main purpose of the job:
You will contribute to the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the Law School. You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the delivery of our taught portfolio, including the LLB and LLM programmes, depending on your expertise and experience. Committed to an excellent student experience and student-centred pedagogy, you will contribute to education delivery and programme management across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
You will also play a key role in enhancing employability and engaging professionally with internal and external organisations at regional, national, and international levels.
You will contribute to and enhance the teaching, research, and knowledge exchange reputation of the Law School. As an ambitious academic with a bold vision, you will deliver excellence in your field to help students reach their potential. You should be capable of providing dynamicleadership for undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programmes, with a commitment to high-quality work and excellent student experiences.
Previous relevant teaching experience is essential. You should be committed to interdisciplinary work and able to demonstrate its impact.

Main duties and responsibilities:
Make a high-quality,
impactful contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, including supervising research students to support students' confidence, knowledge, and
adaptability for successful careers and fulfilling lives.Deliver teaching that includes employer-led, skills-focused experiential learning and
professional development.Engage in high-quality teaching, research, and knowledge transfer that impacts practice, generates external income, and aligns with the University’s strategic goals.Contribute to increasing and diversifying income through grants, industry investments, research, consultancy, CPD, and short courses.Develop external networks to benefit the University and enhance teaching, scholarship, research, and knowledge transfer activities.Contribute to curriculum development to keep the
education portfolio
innovative and supportive of students from induction to employment.Develop new learning pathways, such as apprenticeships, accelerated degrees, credit schemes, multiple entry points, and blended/online learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.Contribute actively to administrative and committee work within the School.Collaborate with colleagues to ensure
quality assurance and
continuous improvement of all activities.Undertake any other duties as requested by the Head of School or Dean.
