Pathways to Work Adviser | 8498 | contract | 37 hours per week | £30,559 to £32,654 per annum | Grade G | Countywide
As Pathways to Work Advisor, you will deliver projects and activities that are designed to increase the demand for and the number, level, range and quality of apprenticeships and other work-related learning opportunities for young people in Norfolk.
You will work in the Norfolk County Council, Children’s Services, ‘Post 16 Routes to Employment’ team, (part of the Post 16 Education, Employment and Training Service) to provide a range of activities and interventions including face-to-face and online information and advice activities for young people in schools, colleges and other learning settings, providing support and advocacy for vulnerable young people to achieve a viable pathway to work.
You may also provide briefings and Continuous Professional Development for teachers/advisers, parents/carers and other professionals, developing apprenticeship publicity materials for use in face-to-face delivery and through the Help You Choose website and a range of social media platforms.
If you can demonstrate an aptitude for this type of work, have experience of working with young people who face additional barriers to participation in learning then we would love to hear from you.
