JOB TITLE: Lecturer - ESOL (Sessional/ Hourly Paid)

SALARY: £25.69- £32.40 inclusive of an enhancement for leave, planning and preparation time (£30,530 - £38,500 FTE)
CWA are recruiting for a new Lecturer to run ESOL classes at our Kings Lynn and Wisbech campuses, including some evening sessions (Monday and Wednesday in Wisbech and/or Tuesday and Thursday in King's Lynn). These are incredibly valuable sessions for our students to assist them with their learning and to develop their communication skills. This is a sessional role where work is offered on a scheduled basis; giving great flexibility.
You will teach ESOL programmes to learners with the potential for this to be in work places (travel expenses payable). You must have experience of teaching ESOL and an ESOL teaching qualification e.g. (TESOL, CELTA or DELTA) or equivalent. You must also have a teaching qualification e.g. Certificate in Education and Training (L4)/CTLLS or equivalent and Level 2 Maths (e.g. GCSE A*-C/9-4) or equivalent or be willing to obtain them.

Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not normally be made at point 12 or above (£35,831 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.
