The Role:
The role of the L&OD Manager (Programme) is to work closely with the L&OD team, wider PIC team and respective client groups to cultivate and create a Learning Culture at Universal Music HoldingsLimited. You will design, develop, lead, and manage all elements of Universal Music Holding Limited’sdevelopmental programmes for all UK based Employees. You will analyse, review, and enhance this based on feedback and data insights (UK and Global) – you will work with the curriculum L&OD manager to develop marketing to highlightwhat is on offer across the organisation through a developed and comprehensive engagement plan,attracting new talent and developing employees.
this is a 12 month FTC starting August 2025 & finishing July 2026
Part time, 4 days a week
The Responsibilities:
- Live the People team purpose, vision and mission and exhibit behaviours that align to our Company values.
- Effectively influence, coach, and guide senior business leaders to achieve their individual and company goals ensuring the feedback is provided at relevant points.
- Own all programmatic development of employees, including but not limited to:
- Management Development Programmes.
- Leadership Development Programmes.
- DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging) Programmes.
- Work with external experts and accreditation services to ensure all programmes are of the highest industrystandards.
- Take insight from analytics from business requirements, learning needs analysis and engagement and experience survey data and evoke person and business needs through programme learning.
- Collaborate closely with L&D Manager (Curriculum) to deliver on L&OD strategy, develop annual calendar and marketing / communication and engagement plan and measure the success of curriculum and programmatic development.
- Work with Director of L&OD to forecast and manage L&OD curriculum and plans in line with agreed budget.
- Intentionally ensure our L&OD initiatives align with the business strategy, the people plan over the relevant period, reinforces creating a psychologically safe and a mature workforce, and cultivates a strong sense of belonging.
- Ensure programme strategies are inclusive of employee workday use and experience, online eLearningand global online offering.
- Work closely with PIC colleagues and runcombined projects, including but not limited to onboarding, internships, apprenticeships, emerging talent initiatives, neurodiversity, Women in A&R, career development and retention.
- Ensure L&OD offering is regularly assessed and measured through qualitative and quantitative data and analytics.
- Work with L&OD team to develop marketing strategies for PIC initiatives to enhance employee awareness, engagement, and experience – raise the profile of PIC team to be best in the industry.
- Facilitate sessions and deliver impactful courses and programmes.
- Offer key insights and learnings from connected internal and external networks that enhance the organisations development.
- Where appropriate, share key learnings and programmes with our non-UK PICcolleagues and the Global LOD function, working with them to tailor materials to meet their local needs within a wider global framework.
- Work with L&OD Director and wider team ondelivering L&OD reporting.
