Bolton College is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Lecturer B in Travel and Tourism to join our successful Service Industries Team.
Ideally, you will have:
- Qualified to Level 3 in Travel and Tourism
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
- Level 2 Maths and English qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of Travel and Tourism programmes
- Experience of assessing students at Levels 2 & 3 in Travel and Tourism
- Knowledge of the apprenticeship standards and experience in preparing Travel and Tourism apprentices for end-point assessment
Day-to-day you will have responsibility:
- To support the Curriculum Leader by co-ordinating and supervising a small team in the delivery of high quality and inclusive provision within a curriculum area.
- To deliver high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses.
- To support the curriculum management on curriculum and course development.
- To take part and comply with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility.
- Develop resources, support teaching programmes and deliver on a number of courses as required.
- To support the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates.
