Dog Grooming Technician - Whittingham Road Campus, Halesowen
Halesowen College is home to a sector leading animal care facility, that prides itself on providing the highest standards of animal welfare, as well as providing the best learning environment for its students.
We are looking for an organised and standards driven individual to facilitate the effective running of the Happy Paws salon by coordinating bookings, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and preparing all necessary equipment for lecturing staff and students.
The ideal candidate will be able to liaise with key stakeholders, including customers, lecturing staff and students, ensuring that booking are made with curriculum requirements in mind. They will work alongside the lecturing team to allocate dogs each day and to ensure all equipment is prepared as required.
Ensuring high standard of cleanliness in the salon, the dog grooming technician will complete daily and periodic cleans as well as coordinating any ongoing maintenance of equipment. With the support of the line manager, they will conduct stocktakes and place orders accordingly, having an awareness of the budgets.
