Job Title: Teaching Assistant and Internal Quality Assurer
Salary: Up to £35,700 + Fantastic Benefits Package
Type: Full time, Permanent
Location: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel
The Role:
- Conduct Internal Verification and Quality Assurance of Teaching Support Apprenticeship Standards up to Level 5.
- Mentor and guide a team of Assessors, including supporting unqualified Assessors during their qualifications.
- Lead induction training and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for Assessors.
- Develop, plan, and execute Quality Improvement Plans, promoting ongoing excellence in teaching and learning.
- Facilitate regular standardisation meetings and conduct observations of teaching and learning.
- Ensure learners achieve their qualifications on time.
- Update and maintain sampling plans in accordance with company and awarding organization requirements.
Essential Criteria:
- Hold a recognized Internal Quality Assurance award (D34, V1, IQA, TAQA L4).
- Hold a recognized Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Proven experience as an IQA in Teaching Assistant or Early Years Apprenticeships.
- Occupational competency within Leadership and Management in Early Years and/or Education.
- Solid understanding of ESFA funding rules and OFSTED EIF.
- Full, clean UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
