By drawing upon their diverse backgrounds, they are able to provide expert guidance and support, ensuring learners receive the best possible education.\\n\\nThe Lecturer will provide leadership support on our clients degree programmes, in particular for Project Controls Degrees. This position is responsible for overseeing curriculum design and development, implementing academic policies, and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning for an excellent student learning experience, as well as performing normal lecturing duties.\\n\\nAs a Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in providing course leadership for academic programs. In this position, you will work closely with various staff, and stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of teaching, learning, and curriculum development are maintained.\\n\\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\\n\\nProvide course leadership as allocated by the Director of Academic Studies (HE) for the degree courses.\\n\\nLead on modules as agreed with the Director of Academic Studies (HE).\\n\\nWrite and contribute to the annual monitoring reports as per academic calendar.\\n\\nCurriculum Development and Enhancement:\\n\\nLead the development, evaluation, and enhancement of academic programs to ensure they meet the higher educational academic standards.\\n\\nCollaborate with faculty and relevant stakeholders to design and implement innovative and relevant courses.\\n\\nSupport curriculum reviews and improvements through standardisation processes working with the Director of Academic Studies (HE).\\n\\nDevelop, review, and implement academic policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and institutional goals in conjunction with the Director of Academic Studies (HE).\\n\\nEnsure implementation of assessment strategies in line with the Teaching and Learning policies.\\n\\nRepresent the company at assessment boards with the company.\\n\\nEnsure all assessment and marking is implemented in accordance with business policies.\\n\\nLiaise and communicate effectively with all parties concerned with the assessment processes and policies.\\n\\nEnsure appropriate levels of academic resources are available to students for their success.\\n\\nParticipate and lead on standardisation quality reviews of all areas of quality of Teaching, Learning and Assessment strategies.\\n\\nSupport the Director of Academic Studies (HE) with compliance to HE quality assurance process including those requirements from various regulatory bodies such as OFSTED and the Institute for Apprenticeship standards.\\n\\nHold regular student committee meetings with a view to continuously improving the student learning experience.\\n\\nReview the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment practices to maintain high academic standards by working with the Director of Academic Studies (HE) and Head of Quality.\\n\\nConduct periodic program evaluations and make recommendations for improvements.\\n\\nFaculty Development and Support:\\n\\nTake part in professional development opportunities.\\n\\nFacilitate mentorship and coaching to enhance teaching effectiveness.\\n\\nStudent Engagement and Support:\\n\\nFoster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.\\n\\nEnsure regular Student Engagement via course committees and reporting issues/concerns to the Director of Academic Studies (HE).\\n\\nFacilitate academic advising and student support services.\\n\\nSupport the Director of Academic Studies (HE) and contribute to the development and execution of the institution's strategic plan, with a focus on academic excellence.\\n\\nThe ideal candidate for this role will have:\\n\\nROLE REQUIREMENTS\\n\\nProven experience in academic leadership roles, preferably in higher education.\\n\\nTrack record of successful curriculum development and program management.\\n\\n2-3 years teaching experience in a higher education environment.\\n\\nEvidence of supporting an excellent student learning experience.\\n\\nBEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES\\n\\nCORE:\\n\\nExcellent leadership and management skills to work effectively with teams.\\n\\nUnderstanding of academic policies, accreditation standards, and quality assurance practices.\\n\\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\\n\\nExcellent proven IT skills.\\n\\nProven lesson planning and delivery skills.\\n\\nBe able to communicate with students from all backgrounds effectively.\\n\\nPaul Feldman is the National Skills Agency Data Protection Officer.
