The Sheffield College would like to invite suitably qualified and experienced applicants for the post of Programme Lead for our Healthcare Science Apprenticeship programmes.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Apprenticeships for Health and Science, the successful candidate will be responsible for
- Oversight and management of the level 4 and 2 programmes with focus on level 4.?
- Ensuring Internal Quality Assurance process is followed, lead on preparation for External Quality Assurance.
- Provide content and teaching for support sessions around EPA, workplace evidence, research, leadership, and audit.
- Timetabling support for mandatory units, specialist units and support sessions. Manage level 4 Google classroom with support/ oversight of level 2 Google classroom
- Act as the main link for NHS Trust partners to ensure the smooth running of the end-to-end delivery of the level 4 and level 2 Apprenticeship programmes
- Providing advice and support to Employers and Apprentices throughout the duration of the programme from recruitment through to achievement.
A small amount of teaching will be required around topics such as workplace evidence and End point assessment.
Supported by an experienced Apprenticeship delivery team the programme lead will be at the forefront of, developing, driving, and improving the delivery of the BTEC Diploma Level 4 and Level 2 in Healthcare Science qualifications as part of the Healthcare Assistant and Healthcare Associate Apprenticeship Standards. As well as implementing continuous improvement strategies and measures to meet the demands of employers in providing a high-quality teaching and learning experience.
