Here at Kingston College, we are seeking a Sessional Lecturer in our Commercial Industries and Access School. The focus of this role is to teach courses across a range of levels and be a personal tutor on the Hairdressing courses. The courses are predominantly coursework based and therefore we seek an innovative practitioner to design engaging coursework assignments that inspire learners.
This is the perfect opportunity for a Hairdresser who holds a Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing. You’ll be hardworking and flexible with high personal standards and expectations and bring energy, enthusiasm and passion for the subject and education. You’ll be able to support, motivate and empathise with young learners, including monitoring their progress and have some awareness of academic quality standards.
A teaching qualification is not required however, we would like you to be willing to achieve one in line with current regulations.
Evening work will be required.
