Job Description
We are recruiting for additional ESOL lecturers on a sessional basis to join us based at Gressingham Foods, in Suffolk delivering ESOL learning to our adult learners. Hours on offer currently are 2 days per week - Wednesday and Thursday.
We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving student services team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.
We offer an excellent package including compensation to reflect our generous annual leave allowance of 37 days per year for academic staff, plus five College closure days, plus Bank Holidays paid for casual or sessional staff, fee waivers on some College courses, a contributory pension scheme with the Teachers Pension (current employer contribution is 23.68%), discounts with local businesses and access to a cycle to work scheme. CWA focusses on staff well-being and utilises both internal and external resources, such as a well-being committee and access to a free and confidential Employee Assistance Programme as well as comprehensive training and development.
You must hold an ESOL or an equivalent qualification. Whilst holding a teaching qualification is advantageous, the willingness to obtain one (supported by CWA) is essential, as is experience of teaching ESOL.
