Variable hours tutor post covering Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole
Skills & Learning is a top performing Adult Community Education (ACE) provider, previously shortlisted for provider of the year in the prestigious Times Education awards. Successful candidates will join a teaching and learning team of some 200 staff. Most of the team are part-time and report to, and are supported by, a designate Assistant Curriculum Manager or Business & Outreach Officer.
From Art to Yoga the Curriculum is responsive to local and national priorities. We're seeking an IT tutor to deliver a range of part-time non-accredited classes in the BCP area and online.
Learning opportunities are offered in over 35 venues across Dorset including seven learning centres:
Tutors ensure Individual learner journeys are recorded using the six stages of Recognising And Recording Progress, Achievement and Progression (RARPAP) via Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
Tutors are expected to adhere to the Professional Standards for Teachers and Trainers developed by the Education and Training Foundation.
