Mantra has supported the skills needs of the logistics sector for over 54 years and is an Ofsted rated grade 2 independent training provider. The Manchester site is well established as the largest specialist logistics training facility in the UK.
- Provide efficient and prompt service to ensure smooth and efficient running of the Quality Team’s responsibilities.
- Support the Quality Manager as required to maintain robust systems of continuous quality assurance.
- Ensure that as a Prime contractor, we are compliant with the ESFA subcontracting standard.
- Supporting the Quality Manager in preparation for, and outcomes of external auditing, sampling, inspections e.g. Ofsted/QAA, EQA , internal audits
- Support managers and staff in assuring processes and systems, required by awarding bodies, are adhered to and complied with, specifically in relation to invigilation and line management of invigilators.
- Liaise and work with other departments and systems to improve and maintain quality assurance and quality improvement processes and gather evidence for auditing for other team members e.g. Using Maytas and PowerBI
- Support with the implementation, administration, and reporting of learners surveys and be actively involved in supporting learner voice activities.
- Lead on the annual audit plan of findings, to continually improve.
- Act as a point of contact for Safeguarding, be current in training and legislation, support Delivery Managers in compliance with expectations.
- Use data to audit and support when identifying risk.
- Maintain and update all quality documentation.
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience
- Assessor and IQA qualification (desirable)
- Teaching qualification (desirable)
- Safeguarding qualification (desirable)
- An excellent understanding of, and commitment to: Equality and diversity, safeguarding, British Values and Prevent (desirable)
- Experience of working cross-department environment within administrative/auditing/reporting role.
- Liaison with a wide range of people in a professional environment.
- Experience of using management information systems to monitor, audit, track and report on data.
- Experience of working in a customer focused service.
- Line management experience in compliance.
- Experience of Adult Education and Further Education.
- Experience in some areas of employability skills, social care, retail, logistics and transport and automotive sectors.
- Very high attention to detail and high standard of accuracy
- Understanding of ESFA funding e.g. apprenticeships, AEB and other similar funding.
- Equipped with strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills; Listens for understanding and expresses information clearly and concisely.
- Analytical; you can think strategically, and you can handle complexity.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written); ability to maintain utmost respectful professional internal and external relationships, even under pressure.
