Job Description

This is a newly created role with the exciting opportunity to own the people development of the Delivery team and to drive-up quality standards and improvements

The Role - Remote working with occasional travel within the UK

We are looking for a Quality Manager who can motivate and inspire a team of delivery Coaches and Trainers to drive high quality measures, allowing learners to achieve their full potential whilst on their programmes, regardless of their starting point. Owning people development where required to further drive-up quality standards and improvements.

You must have previous apprenticeship or vocational teaching and quality background experience, ideally across Digital, ICT and Cyber, however strong candidates from other vocations are encouraged to apply and be able to work with a diverse range of Coaches.  Primary Goal is looking for an individual who can demonstrate and bring to life their values through delivering world-class quality and ensuring their learners achieve the very best possible outcomes.

This is an opportunity to shape how we develop, monitor and improve the quality of our apprenticeship programmes, by reviewing our quality framework, identifying areas for change, and driving improvement projects in collaboration with senior stakeholders across the business. As we continue to grow rapidly, maintaining the outstanding quality of our programmes is key to the success of our apprentices, our company and our ability to demonstrate to external bodies such as Ofsted that we can achieve outstanding results while delivering at scale. The successful candidate will therefore play a direct role in furthering Primary Goal’s mission to build a diverse generation of digitally literate leaders.

To lead on all aspects of teaching, learning and quality performance within the teaching, learning and assessment functions and support those areas identified as requiring improvement in order to achieve and maintain a Grade 2 or above Ofsted outcome.

The Essentials

  • Teaching qualification e.g., DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent
  • Assessing qualification e.g., CAVA, A1
  • English & maths qualifications at L2/grade C or above
  • IQA qualification

The Desirables

  • Occupational competence in the ICT or digital sector
  • Driven by effective learning and assessment pedagogy with a sound understanding of the delivery of apprenticeship standards within a training provider
  • Working within training and education with a sound knowledge of Ofsted and other regulatory bodies

Salary:  £35,000 - £40,000 per annum based upon experience

Home based with occasional travel
