We are looking for an organised, proactive individual with excellent administrative skills to join our team of Quality Assurance and Enhancement Officers. If you have knowledge and experience of quality assurance frameworks within further or higher education or an equivalent organisation and are a good communicator with attention to detail and analytical skills, this could be the ideal role for you.

Our team is responsible for the development and implementation of the Universityâs quality assurance processes and provides specialist support to academic and professional staff, our student body and collaborative partners. Our work includes managing the approval and regular review of courses at UEL and our partner institutions; the quality assurance and regulatory compliance of apprenticeships; student engagement and surveys; the external examining framework and servicing of committees, validation and review events. This particular role would play a key role in supporting the quality assurance and enhancement of the apprenticeship provision offered at UEL and so applications from those with applicable experience are encouraged.
Working within our team of Quality Assurance and Enhancement Officers, you will act as a quality representative, providing specialist advice and guidance to UELâs academic Schools and our partners on the Universityâs quality assurance processes and regulations. You will take a lead in the planning and organisation of quality assurance and enhancement activities and be responsible for managing projects. Your responsibilities will include representing the team and providing high-level administrative support for University-wide committees and working groups, organising complex events and supporting the validation and review of in-house and collaborative courses both in the UK and occasionally overseas.
The successful candidate will be expected to form strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the University and be an authoritative point of contact on quality assurance to ensure policies and processes are implemented effectively.
This role is based at our Docklands Campus with hybrid working available.
