Contract: Fixed-term, 6 months


Location: Hybrid working - Head office: Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne


Hours per week: 37


Salary: Up to 27,040 per annum, depending on experience

About The Role


We are excited to be looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join our External Quality Assurance Team.


This role will see you working as part of our External Quality Assurance team, who are responsible for ensuring that internal assessments are delivered in line with our policies and reliable results are issued upholding high standards of compliance with regulatory requirements.


As a QA Officer, you’ll quality assure our products and promote continuous improvement throughout our External Quality Assurance team. In this role you’ll need to effectively recruit, induct, train, and monitor the performance of External Quality Assurers (EQAs); provide technical advice and guidance on external quality assurance to operational teams and customers; embed the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigation of risk. This all supports in ensuring a first-class service which meets the need of both our customers and learners.


You could be a great fit for this role if you’re a confident communicator with experience of working in a regulatory or audit environment, using Microsoft Office, with strong planning and organisation skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately. It would be even better if you’ve experience of working in an educational environment with good knowledge of principles in assessment.

This role requires hybrid working therefore you will need to be within travel distance of Head Office to ensure you can work from the office a minimum of twice per week.
