Job Description

We are seeking a Programme Leader in A Level Maths to ensure the College delivers a high-quality experience across it’s A Level Maths provision, effectively using resources and aiming to raise standards of learning, achievement, and extra-curricular and work experience opportunities for all A Level Maths students.

The successful post holder will promote and provide an excellent learning experience in A-Level Maths subjects (e.g. A Level Maths and Further Maths), which ensures high achievement for all students studying A Level Maths. They will also as a part of a team take the lead on key A Level Maths priorities such as, Achievement, A Level Mindset, Tutorial and Enhancement programmes.

As part of this role, you will lead on the rigorous tracking of student attendance across a specified range of subjects liaising with subject teachers to deal with emerging attendance and achievement concerns. As well as acting as a key link between the subject teaching teams, the relevant Curriculum Principal and cross-College teams to ensure that actions are taken and outcomes measured with regard to student attendance and progress.
