Fixed Term Contract until 30th June 2024, Part Time (18 hours per week)
Carshalton College are now seeking a Lecturer to teach GCSE Maths and/or Level 2 Functional Skills. You will predominantly teach students aged 16-19 years of age, preparing learners for June exams, marking homework and mock exams, providing constructive feedback, setting targets for students, monitoring attendance and student progress, and where applicable, curriculum development.
We’re looking for someone who holds a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject and someone who has excellent teaching skills in GCSE Maths and/or Functional Skills Maths. With energy, enthusiasm and passion for the subject and education, you will have an awareness of academic quality standards and be able to support, motivate and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress.
