Lecturer in Engineering (Fabrication and Welding)
We are currently recruiting for a Fabrication and Welding Lecturer to join our Craft Engineering team. The successful candidate will be a time served Engineer with relevant qualifications in fabrication and welding, Level 3 or above. A teaching qualification is desirable, but may be completed within 2 years. We have a successful in house teacher training programme including the Certificate in Education or PGCE. Within this role the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding teaching and assessment up to Level 3 in both a work shop and classroom environment. With an enthusiastic and engaging approach you will have the ability to motivate students and support them to achieve their potential.

Hours: 35 per week (24 hours teaching, 11 hours departmental duties)
Salary: £24,883 rising to £37,519, depending on qualifications and experience
Annual Leave: 42 days, plus bank holidays, plus Christmas closure period
