Lecturer – Electrical and Electronic Engineering Ref: 104/2122

Teaching grades SP 23 £24,137.00 – SP 35 £34,421.00 (depending on experience)

The Engineering Department offers a diverse curriculum, from practical mechanical engineering skills-based programmes to programmes designed to support learners into Higher Education or Degree Apprenticeships. The department boasts excellent facilities and has ambitious growth targets to help fill the skills shortages in the region and tap into the talent within the City.

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated person to join our highly-dedicated team as an Electrical/Electronic Engineering Lecturer. This role primarily involves working with Level 3 learners who are being supported to progress into Higher Education study in Engineering disciplines. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and hold a minimum of a Level 5 qualification (ideally a bachelor’s degree) in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering. They will also hold, or be prepared to work towards, a level 5 teaching qualification.
