Lecturer and Programme Leader History (Maternity Cover)

Post Ref: 14657. Full Time, 37 hours per week. Maternity Cover. £27,753.45 - £36,189.34 per annum (Depending on Qualifications).

Start date: January 2023

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences at Hartlepool Sixth Form as a full-time teacher of History. Within the Sixth Form we currently deliver the Edexcel A Level History A Level specification (Route H). We are seeking a lecturer who can demonstrate innovative and outstanding teaching, learning and assessment practices to ensure positive outcomes for learners. This position requires versatility and adaptability regarding curriculum delivery, with a strong focus upon and commitment to TLA and professional development across your curriculum area. You will be joining a collaborative, effective and successful team of A-Level/ BTEC specialists within the Sixth Form.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate relevant experience in their personal statement, giving practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.

Due to the nature of this post, you will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.
