Learning Support Assistant - Additional Learning Support

(Full-time and Part-time vacancies available, Term Time Working)

If you seek an opportunity for a role where every day is completely different this may well be the job for you! We are looking for talented, highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join BCA as Learning Support Assistants in our Additional Learning Support Department. There are fantastic full-time and part-time roles available, all of which are term-time only. The salary will be a pro rata of £18,579 to £19,367 per annum for term time working depending on the number of hours worked.

The Role

This is a great opportunity to offer in-class and, in some instances, out of class support to learners with a range of learning needs. Working alongside specialist tutors and vocational lecturing staff, you will provide an outstanding learning experience for our students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

What We’re Looking For

You will have knowledge and awareness of a variety of approaches to supporting learners. Experience of similar work with post-16 learners and/or supporting students with GCSE Maths & English would be useful. You will have a can-do attitude, a positive outlook, be flexible in your approach to working with different students and staff, be willing to give new challenges a go and seek personal development.
