Do you want to help transform life opportunities? Have you ever considered the unique challenge of Prison Education? Working in prisons is an incredibly rewarding challenge with the benefits of mainstream education.

Weston College is the regional provider for the Prison Education Framework (PEF) across the South West and South East of England and we are looking to a Library and Learning Resource Centre (LLRC) Facilitator to join the team at HMP Elmley.

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing and promoting the services and facilities that the LLRC offers to all learners, and the wider prison community.

The post holder will work in collaboration with the other members of the Education team, prison staff and partner agencies to maximise usage of the LLRC for learning, leisure, well-being, resettlement, and employment progression.

You will need to be confident in using technology and able to communicate well with learners. You will be receptive to new ideas and open to work flexibly. Experience of working within a library environment will be an advantage, however is not essential.
