Job Description

We are looking for a number of proactive, caring and professional individuals to work as part of our outstanding cross-college Learning Support Team.

Your role would be to provide in-class support to enable learners with specific learning difficulties, disabilities or emotional difficulties to access their teaching and learning opportunities within the classroom environment; to provide individual/group support for learners experiencing a range of difficulties. We would especially welcome applicants who are willing to undertake personal care/physical support.

Learning Assistants need to be confident in supporting students with Maths and English, and sometimes IT.

We have a number of roles available and would be happy to consider applicants interested in term time only contracts for a set number of hours worked per week over the academic year, or a more flexible approach to fit in with other commitments e.g. a variable hours’ contract for 12 hours per week to finish when students take their exams in May.
