Job Description


ESP are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic learning and skills coach to join our expanding team, this is an incredibly niche role with huge potential.

As a Youth Work Learning and Skills Coach, you will be working across several locations in the UK delivering Level 2 and Level 3 Youth Work qualifications/apprenticeships to learners in their workplaces.

The post-holder should have experience of delivering and supporting youth work programmes

. The post holder will coach and mentor a caseload of learners towards the successful achievement their programme

Duties and Responsibilities

· Plan, deliver highly effective, apprenticeship and commercially relevant workshop delivery to a number of cohorts of apprentices

· Create, develop and determine training plans, delivery schedules and supporting resources

· Deliver inspiring training and coaching sessions to groups and individuals, providing guidance and support for all components of the apprenticeship

· Support delivery of apprenticeships through a range of methods (e.g. workshop, face-to-face, TEAMs, webinars)

· Carry out regular teaching, assessment visits and monitoring for each apprentice

· During visits, plan, assess, set and monitor appropriate targets, identify and address areas of weakness to ensure learner achievement

· Observe and review work produced by apprentices and provide constructive and informative feedback

· Monitor progress through an effective programme of coaching and tutorial support designed to supplement formal on and off-the-job training and assessment

· You will retain learners engaged on the programme and manage their learning and achievement in line with the targets and objectives agreed in their Training Plan

· Support, where appropriate apprentices to achieve relevant maths/English qualifications and develop the maths and English skills for all apprentices

· You will maintain regular contact with your apprentices and their employers to demonstrate formal progress and planning of progression. You will be very hands on in ensuring the apprentice completes scheduled assessments and tasks

· Support the apprentices through end point assessment including the Summative Portfolio, Synoptic Project, Knowledge Modules and Interview, Professional Discussion as required by the end point assessment organisation

· Maintain effective and up-to-date tracking systems to ensure apprentice’s progress is openly monitored and any obstacles to achievement are effectively and promptly dealt with

· Meet all KPI targets and commitments contributing to the overall success of the business

· Undertake additional projects and activities to meet the needs of the Delivery team and learners as required

· To assist in ad-hoc projects relating to Apprenticeship delivery and wider organisational requirements or projects including development of standards and new delivery

· Follow and abide by ESP’s Standards and Core Principals and assure at all times excellence in the experience, progress and outcomes for the Apprentices and their employers

Must be residing in the UK and work in the UK.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract, Freelance

Salary: Up to £25.00 per day
