About The Role
A bit about the role ...
Reporting to the Head of L&D the L&D Specialist will play a key role in manager capability build across the field based managers within the Energy division. The role requires flexibility to travel across the UK for training delivery, and can be either remotely home based or Newcastle office based.
Working across the businesses within the Energy division, the L&D Specialist is responsible for defining, designing and delivering training to enhance manager capability to support the field managers to engage, support and inspire their teams. The Manager Development Program will be delivered using a range of methods including face to face and virtual deliver, utilising the L&D specialist to deliver and supplementing with external training providers where required. The primary focus of the sessions will be on practical learning, the L&D specialist will carry out learning needs assessments to pinpoint targeted training topics that build on existing experience and encouraging easy transition from the learning environment into the workplace to positively influence our employee experience.

What You Will Bring To The Role...
- Experience of creating highly engaging interactive workshop sessions
- Strong underpinning knowledge of learning delivery methodology
- Experience of creating and delivering Leadership Development programmes
- Experience selecting training providers
- Proven track record of planning and organising multi group training programmes
- Experience in learning needs analysis, course design, delivery and evaluation
- Self-starter who is results-focused with a desire to succeed
- Coaching experience
- Experience of creating eLearning packages and web-based learning Ability to influence and communicate with a broad range of stakeholders, across all levels of the business
- Self-starter who is results-focused with a desire to succeed
- Robust skills in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
