We're on a mission to build a culture of learning and growth at Bumble. To help us on this journey, we're looking for an experienced Learning and Development Partner to define, drive, and execute Learning and Development strategies that build future capability, close skills gaps and retain talent. Working for both the Badoo and Bumble brands and reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the Learning and Development Partner will be responsible for building a training and development program for the Engineering team, covering the full employee life cycle.

You’ll work closely with the HR Business Partners, senior leaders in Engineering, and the Bumble Talent Development team to identify and implement learning and development initiatives that will enable our teams to meet their objectives as Bumble continues to evolve and scale. Bumble is growing fast, so the ideal candidate will be flexible and open to an evolving scope of work, with experience working with distributed teams across multiple territories.


Design and deliver suitable learning and development solutions across Engineering, engaging with third party suppliers when applicable (onboarding, technical, personal development, soft skills, technical leadership, etc).

Design and delivery of training - operational, personal development, soft skills and management & leadership.

Build out a training program for Engineering with a focus on fostering a culture of growth and continuous learning.

Facilitate team effectiveness workshops.

Support organisational change and key people initiatives.

Partner with Chapter Leads to refine the purpose and drive more value through our Engineering Chapters.

Work with the HR Business Partners and Engineering leaders to refine career paths for our Engineers.

Create and deliver bespoke and robust training materials across Engineering to improve the knowledge and understanding of ways of working and Bumble’s unique Engineering culture.

Oversee development and approval of related training materials (e.g., curriculum, slide decks, handouts, coaching/shadowing, continuous learning modules, etc).

Leverage data to drive decision-making, and strengthen tracking and reporting.

Analyse feedback and results to improve training content and format, and report on training effectiveness and sentiment.

​Define, prioritise and plan the resources and technical requirements needed for the training programmes to be delivered on time.


Significant experience in learning & development (and/or other relevant roles) in a progressive, high-growth technology company

The ideal candidate will have experience in startup and scaleup organisations (+ additional experience in a larger organisation would be a bonus)

Excellent training, coaching and facilitation skills

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, particularly with training materials and operational documentation; fluency in Spanish will be a plus.

Accustomed to working closely with senior leaders as a strategic thought partner, with the ability to influence and challenge when needed

Thought leadership and wide knowledge of organisational culture and development topics

Tech-savvy and comfortable with various types of HR and Project Management software (HRIS, Performance Management, LMS, etc.).
