Learning and Development Manager
As Learning and Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the team forward helping to create an L&D function that is flexible, agile, and visionary.
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: 35
Salary: Circa £60,000
Reporting to: Head of Organisational Capability
Location: London Docklands
Our permanent hybrid policy sees us all working at least four days across a fortnight in the office.

Key Responsibilities
- You will be driving excellence in leadership, performance, career & succession planning, coaching as well as all learning and development interventions
- You will be driven to build core capabilities across the whole Service
- You will focus and collaborate on developing the critical behavioural and technical skills for a transforming organisation
- You’ll guide and strengthen our leadership capabilities
- You will be accountable for all development milestones in colleague experience
- As a key member of the HR team, you will work with colleagues across the team to build, collaborate and lead on initiatives within the People Strategy.
- You will work with the Head of Organisational Capability to develop and bring to life the L&D strategy
- Leading and coaching the L&D team, creating a centre of excellence within the organisation!
- Working with external partnerships to build best in class L&D ecosystem
Minimum Criteria
- Strong L&D professional, including design & delivery as well as leading on wider talent management
- A proven track record in delivering leadership/management development strategies
- Strong creative problem-solving abilities
- Excellent leadership skills, a high degree of personal credibility and strong interpersonal skills
- To be a self-starter with the ability to work equally well on your own initiative as well as being a great collaborator
- You must have a natural approach to building relationships and influencing stakeholders and have the ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels
- Have a proven hands-on attitude, be flexible and adaptable
- Have intellectual curiosity, bringing valuable insight into the team/business
- Creative and innovative with a passion for generating new ideas and challenging the status quo
- Accredited and/or experienced with psychometric tools, for example MBTI and strengths scope
- Data driven
