Job Description

We are looking for a Learning & Development Business Partner to join our award winning team. This role will see you contribute to strategic learning initiatives through design and delivery of learning interventions that extend beyond “classroom learning” and “one-off interventions.” This role will allow you autonomy as you work with leaders across our business and as part of our well established Learning & Development team. We are looking for someone who is able to understand our business and the challenges they have, in order to be able to design and offer the right learning and development support.

Key responsibilities

  • Partners with business leaders to understand their plans and challenges
  • Delivers key elements of the learning and development strategy, ensuring that learning is a key enabler of current and future commercial success of the firm
  • Is an advocate for personal, professional and purposeful growth across the firm
  • Delivers individual and team coaching
  • Designs, delivers and evaluates learning programmes, both in person and virtual events including the creation and curation of digital learning resources and the hosting of webinars
  • Keeps up to date with leading-edge people ideas and practices by tapping into thought leaders/scholars in learning, psychology and human resources
  • Contributes to the L&D team KPIs that demonstrate strategic value for the firm
  • Builds relationships and networks across the firm so that learning is seen as accessible for all
Knowledge & Skills
  • Experienced L&D professional; passionate about learning and growth for self, others and the firm
  • Qualified coach and experienced team facilitator
  • Experience of using psychometrics to help build awareness (with individuals and groups)
  • Keeps abreast of developments in digital learning technology, psychology and leadership
  • Understanding and application of key people development frameworks and methodologies
  • Ability to manage projects and prioritise effectively across competing demands and stakeholders
  • Applies emotional intelligence in work across the firm. Demonstrates care for colleagues
  • Ability to think broadly yet provide targeted and innovative learning solutions
