Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available at Starling Bank for a Learning & Development Partner to join the fast growing Talent & Learning team. This role will operate as a Learning & Development Partner to the business. The successful candidate will develop relationships across the business and will establish the L&D needs across both technical and interpersonal learning. The role will work in partnership with the broader T&L team to design and deliver the learning as appropriate.

The role will be London based, and occasional travel to our offices in Cardiff and Southampton will be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the business, including QA, to identify and implement learning and development initiatives that will develop and support our teams to meet their business objectives
  • Engage with the L&D Delivery team, and third party suppliers when applicable, to design and deliver suitable solutions
  • Where appropriate, map and analyse capability levels to fully understand the gaps and provide recommendations for solutions
  • Strengthen tracking and reporting of existing and new training, evaluating the impact of training programmes and adjusting accordingly
  • Keep up to date with developments in learning & development by networking, webinars, reading relevant journals and other materials
  • Ensure all training is captured in the Starling Bank LMS and that training records are kept up to date.
Requirements
  • Working in L&D within a FinTech or Financial Services environment is desirable
  • Design and delivery of training - operational, personal development, soft skills and management & leadership
  • Proven senior stakeholder management experience
  • Managing external providers
  • Working with our LMS, “Access”, is desirable
  • L&D experience in a FS environment
  • Senior stakeholder management
  • Communication, collaboration and partnership skills
  • Project management
  • Supplier management
  • LMS experience (ideally Access)
