Here at QA, we’re looking for a fabulous Internal Quality Assurer (Scotland) to be part of a team that ensures that quality standards for technology and business skills programmes are set and monitored in accordance with assessment, regulatory and funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The main aspects of this exciting role are:

• Work with the Quality Manager and Regional Delivery Managers to ensure timely feedback is given to Assessors/Tutors in relation to learner portfolios
• Work with the team to ensure that agreed quality standards are met
• Work effectively with the team to ensure that learners successfully complete their full apprenticeship by their planned achievement date
• Ensure that programmes are delivered in accordance with the organisation’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Health and Safety Policies
• Attend quarterly standardisation training at the Glasgow office or remotely
• Update and maintain sample plans

About You

Experience

• Experience of working as an IQA for Apprenticeship Programmes
• Experience of working in the sectors of; IT, Data, and digital Programmes
• Previous experience of Quality Management Systems
• Internal audit experience
• Knowledge of SDS funding and contract rules

Knowledge

• Extensive knowledge of regulations and legislation within apprenticeships
• Educational governance

Qualifications

• IQA Award or equivalent
• Assessor Award
• Some IT sector qualifications/experience would be advantageous
